Q - How close are your cabins to the lake?
A - All our cabins are within 100 ft of the lake. Our least expensive cabin ( loon) is behind the bear cabin, separated by the cabin access road.
Q - Can I bring my pet?
A - Sure! Pets are welcome. We do ask that you let us know that you are bringing your pet and of course, for safety sake, dogs must be leashed and not be left unattended. Call and we can let you know how to make a happy time for both of you. Our pet fee is $50 per week or $10 per night per pet.
Q - Do you have a swimming beach?
A - Yes! Jessie Lake has a sand bottom so you can really swim anywhere. We also have a newly set up special beach area for the kids of all ages.
Q - Can we have campfires?
A - Of course! We have 2 fire pits right by the lake and there is plenty of FREE firewood.
Q - What about grills?
A - Each cabin has its own charcoal grill and picnic table. There are also lots of lawn chairs, benches and a swing for your use.
Q - Is there a playground?
A - Yes a small one. We suggest that the little ones are always supervised and also that they always wear lifejackets. We are at the lake after all!
Q - How about water skiing?
A - Jessie Lake is fine for water skiing. Many of our guests enjoy this sport. We do not provide the equipment though.
Q - What about jet skis?
A - We prefer that you use your personal water craft on larger lakes. This is not really the best place for them.
Q - Are there phones and TVs in the cabin?
A - Nope! The public phone (credit card or collect calls only) is in the lodge - so is the TV and VCR.
Q - Do you sell groceries?
A - No. We suggest you shop on the way, or we can direct you to the nearest store when you arrive.
Q - Is bait really FREE?
A - You bet! We keep minnows, leeches, and crawlers for your use in our fish cleaning house.
Q - What time can I arrive?
A - Check in time is 3:00 PM or later.
Checkout time is 9:00 AM or earlier.
